Products such as chocolates, candies, baked goods with chocolate coatings, specialty confections, and other temperature-sensitive items require special handling during transit, particularly during warmer months.

To protect your order, we utilize specialized packaging methods designed to maintain product quality throughout the shipping process.

Temperature-Controlled Packaging

All meltable items are carefully evaluated prior to shipment and may be packed using one or more of the following methods:

  • Insulated shipping containers

  • Thermal liners

  • Gel ice packs

  • Dry ice (when necessary and appropriate)

  • Expedited shipping services during periods of elevated temperatures

The packaging method selected will depend on the product type, destination, weather conditions, and estimated transit time.

Shipping Schedule

To minimize the risk of heat exposure:

  • Orders containing meltable items may be shipped Monday through Wednesday only.

  • We may delay shipment during periods of extreme heat, severe weather, or carrier disruptions.

  • Customers will be notified if a shipment delay is necessary to protect product quality.

Meltable Products Guarantee

We guarantee that meltable products will arrive in acceptable condition when:

  1. The shipment is delivered on the carrier's first delivery attempt.

  2. The delivery address provided is accurate and complete.

  3. The package is retrieved promptly upon delivery.

  4. The package is not left unattended for extended periods in direct sunlight, high temperatures, or adverse weather conditions.

If your order arrives damaged due to melting despite our protective measures, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

To process a claim, customers must provide:

  • Order number

  • Photographs of the shipping box

  • Photographs of the product condition

  • A brief description of the issue

Upon review, we may offer:

  • A replacement shipment

  • Store credit

  • A refund, at our discretion

Limitations of the Guarantee

While we take extensive precautions, our guarantee does not cover:

  • Packages left outside after delivery for extended periods.

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.

  • Delays caused by the recipient's unavailability.

  • Carrier tracking indicating successful delivery but delayed retrieval by the recipient.

  • Product softening, cosmetic imperfections, or minor shape changes that do not affect product quality or safety.

  • Extreme weather events, natural disasters, or carrier service interruptions beyond our control.

Dry Ice Safety Notice

Certain shipments may contain dry ice. Customers should:

  • Handle dry ice with care and avoid direct skin contact.

  • Keep dry ice away from children and pets.

  • Allow remaining dry ice to dissipate naturally in a well-ventilated area.

  • Never store dry ice in an airtight container.
